WHICH SOLVENT BASED ACRYLIC SEALER IS BEST FOR MY APPLICATION?

Fully Cured Concrete

If your concrete is fully cured, you can use the Armor AR350 for a low gloss and the Armor AR500 for a high gloss.

Concrete Pavers

If you are sealing concrete pavers, you can use the Armor AR350 for a low gloss or the Armor AR500 for a high gloss.

It is important to note that pavers are very porous and will knock down the gloss level of the sealer. Additional coats may be required to achieve the desired finish.

New, Uncured Concrete

If your concrete is new and not fully cured, you want to use a cure and seal to help aid in proper curing.

Use the Armor LV15 for a low gloss finish and the Armor LV25 for a high gloss finish.

Brown or Gray Tinted Concrete

If your substrate has a variation in color, or is integrally colored, such as stamped concrete or exposed aggregate concrete, you have a couple of options.

To enhance the natural coloring without adding any new colors, you can use the Armor AR350 or Armor AR500 in clear.

If the substrate is gray and you want to enhance the gray tones with more gray, you can add the gray Armor Semi-Transparent Color pack into the Armor AR350 or Armor AR500.

If the substrate is brown and you want to enhance the brown tones with more brown, you can add the brown Armor Semi-Transparent Color pack into the Armor AR350 or Armor AR500. Alternatively, you can use the Armor AG Brown Seal which already has the semi-transparent brown mixed in.

Concrete Around Pools

While all Foundation Armor acrylic sealers are great around pool decks, some customers prefer the added protection of a water repellent sealer below the surface. If you are contemplating applying both a water-repellent sealer and an acrylic sealer, simply consider the Armor AX25 instead. This hybrid product will provide the benefits of a water-repellent sealer and an acrylic sealer. It also doubles as a cure and seal and can be applied to new, uncured concrete.
